AJ is an experienced finance and investment professional, utilizing his background in financial modeling and data analytics to inform decisions throughout the real estate investment process regarding research, feasibility analysis, debt and equity financing, acquisitions, development, leasing, operations, dispositions, and asset management.
My experience
Prior to Ellsworth Equities, AJ spent 4 years at JP Morgan in New York, NY as an Associate in the Corporate Finance and Credit Analytics groups, conducting data analytics of the ~$100B commercial real estate loan portfolio for stress-testing and capital adequacy assessment, while managing the regulatory reporting data validation operating model and governance framework. While in New York, AJ also served as the Chief of Finance of Columbia University’s Student Life Fund, managing the ~$200K fund while providing student organizations with advisory and consulting services regarding raising capital and improving operating efficiencies. AJ began his career in Baltimore, MD at T. Rowe Price as an Associate in the Investment Data group, specializing in Bloomberg data modeling for trade execution of mortgage-backed and other fixed-income, equity, and derivative securities.
